About me...
I've been sewing and quilting since I was about 12, my mom swore I was going to crash her Singer sewing so fast. I think perhaps that is why I never was allowed to drive the family car! I no longer use the Singer, yay. I’ve lost track of the number of quilts that I have made but I do know I have about sixty (+) in a closet upstairs. I design quilt patterns, teach an occasional class, cross stitch and dabble in other needle arts. I work on layouts and new designs throughout the year, always planning the next project and of course building that fabric stash or retirement nest egg.
I am an avid motorcycle rider so I tend to schedule most of my quilting work around the winter months, otherwise known as the “it's too cold to ride” months, problem is I have discovered electric riding gear and I may have shortened my quilting year even more. I have a 2010 Victory Cross Country that I am madly in love with, so I ride as much as I can in the good months. Quilting and riding are my passions and somehow they tend to overlap ;) you would be surprised how much fabric you can shove into a saddlebag.
Hugs,
Teri
